1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and Google profile information solely to create and manage your StockSwype account. We also store your saved stocks, swiping preferences, and quiz responses to personalise your experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the StockSwype service — personalising your feed, powering the watchlist, and enabling the friends feature. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted backend-as-a-service platform. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

4. Third-Party Services

StockSwype uses Finnhub for market news and price data. No personal information is shared with Finnhub. Authentication is handled by Google OAuth via Supabase.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

StockSwype is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
